Hi,

before you start auditioning, you should be trained.

To know what you're getting yourself into as an actress, to see what you will need to do to get off to a successful start and to avoid the pitfalls that many young actors create for themselves AND to answer this very same question that comes up at least 2-3 times a day, I have created a free 28-page ebooklet that you can download on my site. It's called: What It Takes To Become An Actor. Just go to http://www.actingcareerstartup.com , sign in and you can download it for free.

There are also many websites online where you can go to submit yourself for auditions like www.actorsaccess.com, www.actorsaccess.com, www.craiglslist.com (for free), www.exploretalent.com.

And lastly, if you are ready, meaning if you have training and solid acting base, then you might want to see what you need to do to get an agent: http//www.actingcareerstartup.com/how_to_get_an_agent.html.

Hope that helps!

Tony

depending how young you are. if you are under 18 your parents can take you to find an agent. get headshots, build your resume, do school plays to build th resume. if you are over 18, i would suggest to also build your resume...go to your local casting agencies, take acting classes. Then find an agent...when you get one..that is when you can go to auditions.
