Yes, I have. many times. It's always a sinking feeling, followed by the mental thought, "no...don't tell me it's so...no,no...." and then the tears. It's like you can't move, can't feel, and can't believe for some minutes and then the pain hits.
In a lot of cases, yes, the heart heals. And the mind doesn't remember the pain so sharply anymore.

Yes of course most people will go through that part of feeling heart broken either by partners, bestfriends or even family members. As for me, I've gone through that feelings long ago when the one that I love does not return my love. It felt so bad, and the hurt left behind was undescribable. I dont wish to look back to the past. I have long forgotten about it and now I'm much a better person. I dont feel the pain in the heart anymore. I've forget him and dont wish to remember the times I used to go through. It's enough for me. I want to lead a new life and be happy again.

Yes, I've felt my heart break. I've felt the heavy pangs a break up brings inside my soul. I still remember that phone call. His voice was meek and I knew something was wrong. I never knew it could hurt this much. And as I was telling my mother, she told me that that was nothing; that the real pains of life don't start till later when you start loving your loved ones. I guess she is right.

I don't have a heart anymore; I no longer want to love.

My heart was shattered very recently and I'm still hurting. I'm trudging through the grieving process and it's pure hell at times. I lost my best friend of 20 years on June 1st, so today was day #40. I've cried so damned much that I should've built an ark.

As for the unspoken question: Yes, it will pass somehow, honest. Healing only happens in its own time, and on its own terms. Hang in there.

There were times when I thought my heart broken until the one time it actually did. My chest felt so heavy I thought I could not hold it up... Once it broke and I made up with that person and now am happily married for ll years.

I have had a broken heart and it truly is an awful feeling. It feels like this burning sensation in my chest along with a headache. In time it does go away. But you'll never forget.

Yes. Yes, every day. I was in love with my best guy friend. i told him on valentine's day that i loved him and that i wanted 2 be with him.

he threw the flowers and card away, and laughed in my face. i was heart-broken. i never want to talk to him again...and i haven't...so far.

i felt as though, he had ripped out my heart and used it for a dart board.
