Lybril. It's a birth control pill that you take everday - just like seasonale, but you don't have any weeks off.

It generally isn't recommended to stop your periods completely. I inquired about that myself, as I suffer from menstrual migraines, but my ob/gyn prescribed a pill called Microgestin Fe which works like Seasonale. I take the "active" pills for 9 straight weeks and then take the placebos and have a period. This amounts to about 4 periods a year. The best part is that I no longer bleed and rarely have any cramps. The worst part is that I still feel nauseous and get the headaches. But each person will have a different reaction. I know someone who gets the shot and claims that she doesn't get her period anymore but I'm not so sure about that one...

the fewest menstrual cycles most drs. would advise is 4 per year. complete cessation of your cycle could seriously reduce your body's ability to maintain healthy bone density levels now and in the future.

i dont kno the name but there r shots. but y would u want to stop ur period? its the best way to tell if ur pregnant or not. also, i hear that its not so so safe. trust me, u will miss ur period if u get it. have u maybe considered seasonale? makes u have less periods thruout the year.

I had an IUD and never had a period. It affects everyone differently.

my wife said yes, but has side effects! unknown name, ask OBGYN.
