First you should evaluate whether he's mature adequate to have a puppy in any respect. make constructive he knows that a puppy could have desires and thoughts too. verify you at the instant are not left to seem after the puppy each and every of the time. Fish would be stable theory, yet are in all probability too "uninteresting" and are on no account cuddly. the comparable form of outrage applies to a turtle: they don't seem to be ~bushy~ ! As you're saying, a canines bears someone-friendly procedures to lots duty on the 2d. Wait till he has some journey with another puppy in the past you communicate that. A small(ish) animal like a syrian hamster or guinea pig is properly worth thinking, as a results of fact upkeep is truly low and that they are attractive and cuddly. If he's waiting to a minimum of help clean out the cage then it truly is unquestionably properly worth thinking, yet supervise enjoying and such like in any respect situations. wish this enables!

I must say that that is one lucky turtle, is it by chance missing an eye, I had one that lived a long time with only three legs and his tail ripped off. My darn cat got ahold of it in the front lawn, so I took it in and it has lived for a long time, four years and counting!!!!!

It amazes me how people survived in Nazi prison camps too, but amazingly miracles happen. The turtle is severly dwarfed, and probably won't live it's full life span due to dwarfism. Not knowing what species it is, I am going to assume it is a RE slider. If so, it should be about 12" long by now.

your friend probably feeds the turtle. turtles are known for longevity, meaning they live really long. many species of turtles live longer than humans and most animals on this planet. and if you said that after 7 years and the turtle is the size of a hand then that means your friend got a turtle the size of a pack of sugar when your friend first got it. by the way, those are illegal in america, theyre illegal smuggled or transported from asia.

A "gallon" tank?

Your friend is an idiot who needs to have her animal confiscated and be prosecuted for cruelty. STUPID.

Turtles are famous for surviving in bad conditions. This does not mean it is happy or healthy.
