No it doesn't. Have you done it? I did, it was so boring I had to walk away after like 5 minutes. When I came back a second later, it was boiling. I think water is just too shy to show off how hot it really is when someones watching.

Yeah, yet once you're status there observing it, it sounds like eternity. that is extra effective to multitask. herald stuff to do to bypass time and fake you at the instant are not observing it. seems to take much less time. satisfied kettle observing. :o)
