Two not-so-obvious terrible teams from last year that really helped their chances (not counting Portland and Seattle, the lottery winners who took Oden and Durant): Atlanta and Boston. First of all, Boston is an incredibly talented team to begin with. They were just young and immature last year. Now, they got some confidence and extra firepower. This year they will make the playoffs, maybe will even win a series, but probably won't get to the Finals. That alone is a huge improvement though. Atlanta also is suddenly very strong. They have been quietly building an incredibly young hungry, and talented team anchored by Joe Johnson. Expect them to win a lot more games this year as well. If they gel, they could be very dangerous.

Definitely hands down the Portland trail blazers:
1.They had the #1 pick and got Greg Oden
2.they have the 2007 rookie of the year Brandon Roy, and a nice rookie Lamarcus Aldridge who i can't believe the bulls traded.
3.Channing Frye will be a great contributor
4.They got smart and bought out Steve old, rusty Francis.
5.They picked up Steve Blake
6.They got rid of Zach Randolph
7.They are a young and talented team.
8.The refs wont call Greg oden like they do in the summer league.
9.They were a weak untalented team before all the off season moves this year and last year.
10.They have Greg oden enough said.

Phoenix Suns. Even though the Suns are a great team, they did not do as good as you think they would have last season. Especially with Grant Hill's 2 year deal,3.8 million dollar contract with the Suns will help the Suns win more games.

I think Golden State or Minnesota cause Golden State did really well in the second half last season and if you look Minnesota has plenty of young talent and KG still may not be traded (even though it's unlikely)

im surpirsed that nobody has said the orlando magic yet. probably because they already made the playoffs last year, even though they got swept. dwight howard just needs to improve his scoring then he will be a true superstar. the addition of rashard lewis is big because howard finally has another all-star caliber player.

i think that the most improved team is going to be the lakers.
1.they will proberbly be getting Keven Garnet and i dont think Kobe will go to another team.
Kobe wont go because people r writing letters to the team manger sayin that they wont go to another game if Kobe leaves.
so with Garnet and Kobe they will improve a lot

Golden State Warriors were basically a second half explosion. Next year get ready for a whole season of Nelly ball! (as long as Baron Davis is healthy!)
