let's face it they both are finals mvp, tony have 3 ring , wade have 1, wade is a kind of nba player who try to show the whole world that he is better then anyone, when it comes to winning he doe'snt really care but only to be the showman, i back in 2006 nba finals he prove to everyone that he deserved to be a champion and after he really doe'nt care about shaq, when he win the mvp, him and lebron was talking and he was teasing lebron like lebron could'nt win a mvp, but u don't see tony parker teasing anyone, parker is shy but unlike dwyane wade he willing to play so hard as he can to win a title, players like wade and lebron have alots to learn an about 2 -3 years they will figure out it not about showing off it all about winning, the only reason people like wade better then parker is because wade is an american and parker is an international player, like it or not wade is not a kind of player he seem to be, they all wanna be like MJ.

Well I think Wade is better coz he plays better D than Parker. Secondly Parker tends to mail in a lot of games. You say he played with a lot of heart and I agree in the playoffs only though. During the regular season it looks like he doesnt want to be there at times. Wade took the whole MAvs team to school in the finals (with a lot of help from the officals) and he was playing against a supperior team. Parker on the other hand no one gave the cavs a chance and the spurs were way better than the Cavs. Spurs were gonna win the championship no matter what. and since parker has become the first scoring option for the spurs it was no surprise that he won the MVP. Wade on the other hand literally took over the series and deserved the MVP more than any one...

People respect Wade more because he is tougher and better. He literally took over playoff games for the Heat last year. Parker played a huge role in his teams win but he didn't take over then game. Also, Wade falls a lot, and came back to play with a dislocated shoulder. Parker deserves respect as does almost every single NBA player but Wade just is a superstar.

D-Wade is a much better player, and whatever respect people had for tony over wade he lost when wade BLOCK his a** TWICE in the season. And for Wade teasing lebron, Lebron and Wade are best friends. He probably wouldn't tease him as much if lebron didn't clothes line his neck because he was losing. On Oprah Charles talked about how Michael likes to tease him about not having any rings. You said Tony Parker is shy when he was on Steven A. Smith show mocking Dallas because they lost to Miami and wade is known to be the most humble kid in the NBA so please don't eve try to pull that doesn't care s*** with him.

Wade has his own moves and a better finishing. That's how he earned his nick, Flash. Parker doesn't have any nick and he's only good at cutting in lanes. Yet Parker is not much of a passer as a PG. Wade came up big just in 2 years. Parker was never big until recently when he hooked up with Eva Longoria.

Well, another highlight about Wade is that he was seen as another 'dynamic duo' (Wade & Shaq).

I don't think it has anything much to do whether he is American or international. If you insist, what about Dirk, Yao, Dikembe, etc? They are all international players too.

people that know basketball respect the spurs and their top players...any real basketball fan knows that you need players that are unselfish and dont need the spotlight to win...those are the players that will think team first when the game is on the line...parker has more than proved that he is the engine that makes one of the best teams in the league run over the last 10 years go... Im sure dwyane would love to have a career as successful as Parkers has already been...talking to NBA scouts some time (years) ago that told me that parker and ginobli are two of the toughest matchups in the league on that team...because they dont depend on their outside shot and drive all the time creating more opportunities for their teammates and theirselves, both in assists and rebounds...they get pounded, get back up and dont sit all game moping and cry to a ref if they dont get a call...they work hard to make their team a champion, not to be bigger than another player in the league average so many points a game or badmouth another teams star player (wade)... and if they really want to be like a star player, aspire to be the best, be like Russell who led his team to 11 titles in 13 years, being easily the most valuable player on the team but not concentrating on scoring but making the team better as a whole... and please dont try to associate the word tough with wade when talking about a dislocated shoulder...he was crying like a little child in that wheelchair when he got that injury...the only player who ive ever seen leave the court crying like a girl in a wheelchair for any injury...

Yeah, I'm sure Wade only wants to show off every game, oh wait, he only averaged about 8 assists per game before the injury. Shaq's old, you can't count on him for much. Because Wade is a hell of a lot better a player than Parker is.

Where do you draw those conclusions from? We folks in San Antonio have a lot of respect for Tony Parker. It is not that we don't like Dwyane Wade but he is just not the caliber of person that Tony is. Commericals with Charles Barkley does not make the man. Those commercials would be good with any player and Charles Barkley. See it is not Dwyane's commercial it is Sir Charles's commercials. So respect Dwyane Wade; yes. More than Tony Parker; NO !

I agree with you, and I think it really comes down to Dwayne Wades personality and marketability. Hes in all the commercials because thats the kind of guy he is, the one that does high flying dunks, likes to be a star. Thats not a bad thing, its just how he is. Tony on the other hand doesn't like all that. He's admitted he could never live the life of his wife Eva Longoria because she gets so much attention all the time, and he also said thats why he likes the low marketability of San Antonio. Him and Tim Duncan play the game the right way and in this day and age thats rare. In my book, he has a hell of a lot of respect.

Who says they respect Wade more than Parker? Where is this poll? For me personally, I think that they are both good players who do what is needed to help their team win. Sounds good to me.
