It seems like people ask about this question all the time.....
I have come off a broken engagement.... 6 months ago, However, since then I have gone on a couple of dates, however nothing promising, just going through the motions....
There is a wonderful woman whose store i have shopped at for 2 years now....I worked up the cahonas to buy here flowers and ask for her number.... I left the flowers at her check stand....
However... i haven't really been into the dating scene for awhile... need a refresher course... how long are you supposed to wait to call... 3 days... later that evening... a week? not really sure and ... this one i like so trying to get it right... thanks for any suggestions...

Well.....if a man left me flowers, asked for my number and then didn't call within about 24 hours or so, it would appear to me that he reallly wasn't all that interested after all.

Theres a answer to every question dear..lol...everyone has promblems, who cares if there the same..ya know?...just shows your not the only one going through this...that was so sweet buying her flowers...you get points for that...i would call her 2 days after she got the flowers and ask her if she got them and if she was interested on going out sometime...i'm sure you'll get a big yes...just be patient, you don't want to call the same day and seem stalk like....and 3 days is way to long she may think your not that interested to wait that long, so i'd say a few days...good luck to ya.

2-3 days is a good time to wait. It's not too long and not so soon that you come off like a stalker or just plain desperate.

wait 2 days at least, then it says, i'm interested but i'm not gonna let you know HOW interested just yet.
Good luck, do whatever you feel is right, but not to fast or pushy off the bat, that is a big turn off

1 day...then call her and see if she wants to kick it. i mean u spent $$ on her...with/out knowing how she would react...that 2-3 day doesnt apply in this situation since you spent money.call her the next day and see what she is thinking.

I'd say call the next night. Don't leave her hanging too long or she'll wonder if you're really interested.

send her chocolates first with a note telling her that you are going to call on whatever day...
then call on that day! :)
