He mentioned studies which showed that married people have more sex more frequently than single people, and that increased frequency of orgasms per week correlated to less mortality.
The benefits of sex are negated if there is unsafe sex, and that risk is increased with STDs and multiple sex partners.

I am not sure what I believe, I think there is evidence to support both theories. I have heard that you BP can go up because of the stresses but then if you are happy in the relationship your mental outlook can vastly improve. Ugh...I don't know.
