He played on the Bulls for 13 years and never led the league in assist's..HE NEVER CAME CLOSE!!..Karl Malone used to get more assist's and he was a forward!!...Wilt Chamberlain led the league in assist's one year..and he was a CENTER!!...now grab my pocket!

Helter Skelter....you sound like a product of the media!!...Not one of those players ever said MJ was the "BEST"......

Larry Bird said "that was God disguised as Michael Jordan".....he basically said MJ on his best day can score a bunch of point's and lose...Lmao!...Jordan scored 63 points and lossed...he also missed a game winner!..and in the next game in CHicago..he choked big Time!!...In front of his home fans he scored 2 point's in the second half!!!..lol...

Charles Barkley has said many times ..Kevin Mchale is the best player he ever played against!

Magic Johnson.." I fear No one! except Larry Bird!"............

MJ is overrated!!...he could never win in the 80's..only in the watered down 90's!

2007-07-11 17:11:19 · update #5

Barkley never said MJ was "the best"....
and I said Rodman has been quoted as saying "The Champion Bad Boy Piston teams would beat the Bull's teams he was on"......

Interesting. Something a lot of guys overlook. Nice find. I'd say that he was a little more of a shooter and not passer than many think

Yes, he really shot the ball 49 times in a single game. The game was on January 16, 1993, and the opponent was the Orlando Magic. By the way, the Bulls lost that game on their home floor. Shaq led the Magic in field goal attempts in that game, with 18.
To be fair, Michael may have had to hog the ball when you look at how the rest of the team, excluding Pippen, Paxson, Armstrong and Tucker, were shooting in that game. Michael shot over 50% in that game, so maybe the ballhogging was justified in that case, because he was shooting well in that game.
mojo569 if you're going to get into the rings fetish argument, at least get your facts straight. Wilt Chamberlain
has 2 rings (one with the 1967 76ers, and one with the 1972 Lakers). Scottie Pippen has 6 rings, and so does Kareem.
Bill Russell has 11 rings, John Havlicek has 8 rings, Sam Jones has 10 rings, while Robert Horry has 7 rings.
I proved I was a fair and unbiased member of the EjF, by
awarding the 10 points to you for my question about foolish jordon and Eva Longoria. Just because you're a jordon jocker, that's not an excuse for lacking knowledge when it comes to NBA history.

We meet again Alpha Wolf. Why the hate campign on Jordan? If Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, Great Basketball legends admit that Jordan was the best all-time player why we mere basketball mortals argue otherwise?

Another Additional:
To Alpha Wolf: Just sit and watch this clip this has Charles Barkley and Rodman in it in what they think about the Jordan legacy. (And to think you said Rodman doesn't appreciate Michael Jordan, hehehehe). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XwpiVtrL7U&NR=1

People forget that Jordan wasn't a very good shooter (because we get bombed with Nike commercials showing the one big shot he made!). If you take away the dunks, his percentage was marginal at best.
My favorite ball-hog was World B. Free. 10 years in the NBA, and not one asist! When asked about passing technique, he said, "crib- notes".

wilt didnt shoot the ball 100 times he got 100 points and no jordan is not a ballhog because the rest of his team was still scoring it was never just the jordan show it was the jordan and pippen show

and why do people say kobe sucks because the rest of his team doesnt get the ball enough if he was on a good team and he could trust his team in handling the ball then people wouldnt say that. i bet most people who say that would get whooped if they play him one-on-one

Of course. Everybody nowadays can't think for themselves and just "go with the flow." The like Jordan because they see people around them doing that. I don't know why people like to bash Kobe and praise MJ. Either you praise them both or bash them both.
