I think your best bet would be to wear some kind of shaper that's made of the same material as pantyhose. There are different brands but I believe that Spanx is the most popular.
I've found that when it comes to white pants, it's pretty hard to avoid a panty line, even when wearing nude or beige colored panties.

i saw on this one tv show that the only 2 types of underwear that wont make a panty line are thongs and boy shorts. Also, if you wear white capris, wear nude-colored underwear so you wont be able to see the underwear through the capris. hope i helped :)

you need to wear a nude color. by that I mean something that is as close to your skin color as possible. Do not wear white. And try to buy any sort of seamless style. I love the body by victoria line from victoria's secret or the jocky no panty line series. They make all sort sof styles from thongs to boy shorts. A good alternative to the thong is the boy short. I saw this once on either TLC what not to wear or on Oprah. That if you aren't into thongs, boy shorts accomplish the same thing.

The kind that is made of very soft , smooth material. It says "no panty lines" on the pkg. You should wear off white or beige under white or they may show thru.

the best you could do is wear a really thin pair of underwear. That is pretty much the only thing you could do to prevent a vpl (visible panty line)

seamless pantys work pretty good -- don;t go for white ---- get something that closely matches your skin color --- ie beige or tan etc......
I know you said no thongs --- but give one a try in a size or two bigger than what you normally wear ----
