Tommorow is my first day of summer school I am taking the course Public Speaking. Where should I seat? Should I ask a lot questions? Should I bring a notebook an paper and pens?
I am in the 11 th grade and taking summer school for the first time. I am a little worried.

To answer your questions in order -
1) Sit in Front (shows your interested)
2) Ask every question you can think of (the only dumb question is the one not asked !)
3) Bring notebook, paper, pens, etc; everything you need to take good notes.
Don't worry. I believe you'll do fine, especially when you show an interest. Please don't give in to Peer Pressure and destroy your chance for receiving good grades.
Tip - When public speaking, you usually need to look at people. Choose any face, then look at the area between their eyes. Avoid looking into their eyes, which makes people nervous. Then, move onto another face.

It is important to sit as close to the teacher so you can watch and hear. You should be alert and ready to ask questions. Be prepared to take notes so you will need to bring paper a pen or pencil and a notebook and everything will be just fine.

Summer school is no different then regular classes. By all means, take notes, bring paper and pencil or pen and pay attention. Ask questions. Sit where you are most comfortable. I went to Summer School for one semester , and loved it. It was great. Good luck.
