Ok this may sound dumb but help me out! I recently went on vacation with my wife and we found someone selling clams with pearls inside. Long story short I ended up buying her a very nice diamond ring mount for this pearl well since we were buying they gave us an extra clam for free in hoping we mounted this one also. I said no it was to much and we would do it at another time. Minutes later she was looking at another similar store and ended up buying herself a cheap necklace mount. This isn't the first time she has done this another time I bought her a beautiful necklace and ring set she went back to the store and bought the matching earings. I feel that no matter what I do she always wants more. Am I wrong?

Try talking to her about it, if it bothers you or makes you feel bad. She prolly doesnt mean to come off as greedy. Some of us ( women) just have a shopping habit. :) A habit meaning we dont even think about it much , sometimes we just buy. Just talk to her calmly . good-luck

Your not wrong, that's just how us woman are, we never feel it's enough...hey ladies, i'm being honest...or maybe she just loves the things you buy her so much she wants it to be complete, i mean you bought her the ring mount and she got a extra clam free so she went and bought a cheap mount for it, no big deal, don't sweat it, just keep being sweet and try and understand us woman don't do this on purpose, it's just us, and if it bothers you so much try talking to her and asking her about this, that will be the best way to ease your mind.

I think it would bug me, too (and I'm a woman). My suggestion is to tell her how it makes you feel. Does it make you feel angry, inadequate (in her eyes), sad, rejected? Express it.

If there are budgetary concerns, let her know that you want to get her beautiful things, but that you need to be careful with your budget & ask her if she can understand that. Are there certain things that you're saving up for (house, car, vacation, retirement) that these expenses are taking away from or delaying? Is she on the same page with you on those dreams? Gently ask her if those things are important to her and if they are, let her know that you're frustrated by delaying them because of this.

No, you are not wrong. There is something lacking that she feels the need to always have more. Sit down and try to talk to her. Tell her how you feel. Prayers

No. It would not bother me. If it bothers you, stop buying her stuff and let her buy her own. Maybe she likes a matched set.

She is having fun shopping on vacation. We women do this. Keep her happy and she will keep you happy. Thats the way it works.
