why hasn't the U.S. government directed Customs and Border Protection officers to turn away all Muslims who show up at a U.S. port of entry? How would Muslim terrorists attack the United States if they could not get inside the United States? Are Customs and Border Protection at least scrutinizing Arabic-looking people?

Geez, why didn't Native Americans turn away all those Europeans who brought germs that wiped them out? Why don't we kick out white folks since so many white kids shoot up other kids in schools? Let's kick out African Americans, Asians, Irish and some more.

Because Al Queda is the Ku Klux Klan of Islam. They even carry out a heresy called "Takfir" which says it's O.K. for Muslim to kill Muslim. And over 80% of Arab-Americans are Christians. Not Muslims!
The Border Patrol has stopped "Arabic-looking people" (as you term them). Several were held in detention near San Diego until it was determined that (even though they were Iraqis) they were Chaldean Catholics.
