Being a pro skateboarder and a father doesn't really free him of much time to go and do other things, he's got his video games, his clothing line, his guest apperances. As for being to old to skateboarder or getting close to it I expect to see him retiring from the sport eventually but not to soon. I've once saw a 56 year old grandma skateboarding and if she can do it at that age, why not him too, or anyone else for that matter, I know i'm never going to stop skateboarding unless I absolutly have to. He is still an insparation to skateboarders, he's one of the kings of skate he's a god to the sport and has made it become huge with help of others as well. You know he's at that point where he doesn't do it for the money, he does it because it's to late to change and switch to something else, and he loves to skateboard. He doesn't skate as much as he use to, but I don't think it's because he's old, he just got busy with so many other things. I look up to him because he's a good guy with a good heart for the sport of skateboarding, he's said it before he never thought in a million years he'd be able to make money skateboarding, but yet here he is, a legend.

As far as I know Tony Hawk does do other things, such as guest appearences, clothing lines, ect. (about the skateboarding issue)........I think as long as Tony Hawk is in good shape and heathly there is no reason for him to stop skateboarding, because that is obviously what he enjoys. To me he seems like a pretty decent guy, I don't skateboard, but I am a big fan of him.

Bucky answers, "I think that as long as he is healthy enough to skate, he should keep doing it. Also, he doesn't only skate board, he has a clothing line and birdhouse skateboard gear, and the videogame series. He can still make alot of money off of those long after he stops skating."

Speaking as a mother (and an older person) I think Tony should continue skating as long as he feels like it. Men are not like women in that they lose bone mass as they get older so more power to him. AND, I would much rather my boys have him as a role model than one of those yahoos on "Jackass" like Steve O, Bam Marjera or Johnny Knoxville. THEY need to grow up. But I do admit to you Zorac that I secretely laugh at all they do. . . .I just don't want my kids to know I find it amusing.
