Why do liberals associate fascism with Bush, Republicans, or the Right?

The Islamic Terrorists are the fascists. Most people believe fascism is putting the state before the people. This is a common definition. But; there are several things that charaterize all fascist states which are the basis for Islamic Terror. Firstly fascism depends on the fear/hatred/attack of a specific group, for Franco it was the Communists, for Hitler the Jews, for Mossolini the British, For the Islamic Terrorists America and the Jews. Second is the objective of gaining or regaining power for the fascist state. Franco wanted the old Spanish Empire, Mossoulini wanted to rebuild the Roman Empire, Hitler wanted Barbarosa's Holy Roman Empire, the Islamic fascists wan the old Muslim Empire, the Caliphate, the Islamic State. Just as we were during the early 20th Century we are again at war with Fascism, and we must not rest untill it is once again swept from the face of the earth. Why do liberals not see that fascism is the mark of our enemy: Islam, I mean terrorism.

Nazi Germany was run by the NAZI party or the National Socialist party.

First the phony 14 charateristics, i saw no sources, and doubt there were any, Islam is fundamentaly based on the forced conversion of peoples, jews, christians, and other native religions, it happened 1400 years ago and the terrorists want it to happen again.

yall do realize if this country was fascist, right now none of you would know it, because the press would be regulated, the critics would be silenced and each and every one of you liberals would be converted or killed. Because thats what fascism is, wake up.

Islam in much of the middle east has not modernized since the 600s. The Islam we are exposed to is a perfectly harmless watered down version. I have a half dozen Pakistani friends. However, if we do not eliminate radical Islam which is original Islam the world will not be safe for anyone of a different religion or no religion

All socialism is smoke and mirrors the only result is poor people and rich leaders, like ummm Germany

Islam was born of conquest, but Christianity was born of Pacifism and Martyrism, original Christianity is good and original Islam is evil

No, Nazi Germany was not run by the National Socialist party. Do your homework!
Hitler used the party to rise to power, and then controlled it like he did anything else. Nazi Germany was controlled by Hitler!
If you do some research, you will see how many people in it opposed hitler, and ended up quickly and permanently relieved of their positions in it.
He used it as a front, to gain the support of the people who where in a bad situation. Socialist Germany, was smoke and mirrors. Nazi Germany was extreme right-wing fascism with a promise of socialism to unify and gain the support of the people. If you can't see the difference between socialism, and more privledges and wealth to party members and business owners, you better get back to the books before trying to make any more comments.

Republicans used to be a very noble party, until Southern democrats decided to join it, and change it for the worst, making it a more right-wing extreme entity.
In their wake of destroying something that once was good, they left behind extremist that use fear, propoganda, and lies to achieve goals that they feel are best for them, not us.


Radical Islam is original Islam? So the Old testiment is orignial christianity, and should be eliminated as well? In reality, we need to eliminate all radical religion to make the world safe for everyone, and the best place to start, is to eliminate poverty, so people aren't easy prey for recruitment by radical sects.

Probably the distorted degree of nationalism, the propaganda based communication to the public, the militarist expansionist approach to foreign affairs.
That fear/hatred of a certain group - have you seen the bigotry towards all muslims to be found in America - just take the time to read half of the questions in this forum.
I do not think that Bush etc are fascists - but there are some similarities.

Stoning women for showing an ankle or any independence and calling for the death of "infidels" because they do not hold the same views as them is more than wrong. But name calling is childish and I do just not mean calling someone fascists, labeling someone or even a group and name calling should be left on the playground. As for liberals associating fascism with Bush, Republicans, or the Right.. It dose go both ways and two wrongs do not make a right. Just something to think about before some go on a tirade calling the other names.

That is the dictionary definition of fascism and it says nothing about terror. So you really shouldn't equate terrorists to fascists. I'm not saying that they aren't evil people they just aren't fascist. I do think that president Bush does have some fascist like qualities though.

Abe Lincoln was the original fascist - father of the Grand Old Party which carried the Whig torch to burn down the US Constitution and create the central government tyranny that has increased after each war based on lies through today.

WMDs, Iraq's role in 9/11, America's security was threatened / Bush

Lincoln's Fascist acts:

Suspension of habeas corpus - i.e. a right to demand a speedy trial by jury - thousands were held and many executed.

Suppression of Free Elections - In Maryland and elsewhere in the North.

Suppression of the Press - Hundreds of newspapers were shut down for opposing Lincoln's war or for merely advocating for a peaceful solution / end to the war.

Disregard for rulings of the Judicial Branch including the US Supreme Court which ruled several of Lincoln's Acts were unconstitutional.

Burning down of entire cities in the South and encouraging the looting and rape of Southern civilians which was against International Law / Rules of War and the Geneva Convention passed in 1863.

They do it because they`re fearmongering. They pick a scary word & throw it around carelessly hoping it will stick.
