I need to do the things that are immediate including requesting the fellow man/women to understand the situation and cooperate in resolving in the best interest of co-employees and to take the food out to some other place to eat out! I firmly confirm the true fact that the one in which majority disagree in respect of food like the awful smell and taste are generally agreed by one and all since the eater would also doesn't like to eat such thing in common place like office, which would invite terrible comments from the colleagues for all time to come! Though it could be a case in point as one in thousand occasion we should still have to deal it more humanly for the person to acknowledge and accept good practice!

Nothing. If the office rule is that everyone can bring lunch
snacks or whatever. There is nothing for you to do, but get
over it. Peanut butter will and always has made me deathly
ill. Guess what most lunch sandwhiches were made of back
in the day. So I sat choking on my gorge ,untill the period
was over, because even as a child I knew that everyone
gets to eat what they want.

I used to work with this evil woman who would go into the employee lounge and cook some kind of lean cuisine with shrimp 4 days a week. I'd head for the car and take my lunch break on the road whenever I heard her crank up the microwave. Usually it would've aired out by the time I got back.

We once moved the Microwave to another part of our building. It solved everyones problem, especially whenever this employee brought fish...we could open the windows in that part of the building to air it out :)

I jokingly say something like, "Oh my gawd! What the heck are you eating??? It smells freakin' nasty!"
We joke that way a lot in the office I work in.
