I think that depends on place and season where some parts of the earth receive sunlight more longer than the opposite side.

You might want to look up Hadley cells.
I would also think this might vary from season to season as well. Are you looking for an average?

yes we do need more info like time of the year and the nortthern or southern hemisphere also the location would be nice (longitudes)
