Thinking of buying a wireless router for laptop and pc for home use. Other than router do you also need a specific adapter?

For Wireless networking you need a wireless router, or a wired router and a access point, and a wireless network adapter, either PCI or USB for a desktop or USB or a PCMCIA card for a laptop.

With this equipment you can share files, printers and even a Internet connection between multiple computers.

You need a wireless adapter in the PC... although your laptop probably has one, if it does not, you need a wireless adapter for it too...

No, my grandson just hook up a wireless to mine and that is all he used. It has a blue cord on the back to go to the comp. and a black one for the electric.He had to set some buttons but, I don't know what they are. It will tell you in the intructions. But, that is all you need.
