I was sitting home with my 6 month old baby when I saw it on the news. I was shocked and heartbroken, I just sat there sobbing for my country and for all those innocent people. It was a day I will remember the rest of my life.

I was 11 years old. I was in school when it happened, actually it was my lunch period when people started spreading the news around. I was really confused but all of our parents had to come pick us up and take us home. I went home and my mother told me that the twin towers were hit by a plane. I live in New York City but at a safe distance from where the attacks happened. We went home and I watched it on the news. I was confused because i thought it was just an accident but I heard they were done on purpose. It was sad watching the people running and crying and the news reporters were in the middle of the all the rubble and right when the towers fell live in front of my eyes was really intense. MY sister came home late she was stuck because the buses weren't taking her uptown but when she got home she told us that she saw many people with dust and bloody injuries everywhere.

I was sitting in 4th grade classroom when outside, the janitor was lowering the flag to half staff. We all laughed like gay little kids xD But later we learned what it was about! Also later in the day we went to JC penny's after school and we had to leave cause they were closing. Later at home I was crying and watching the news.

I was on the computer, with CNN in the background. I saw the whole thing as it happened on TV. I called my friend, and we were shocked and crying. Later on that day I had an anxiety attack during a doctor visit. It was a day I'll never forget.

I'm going to take this opportunity to offer this slide-show link once again in remembrance. Warning: It WILL take you back to that day. Be prepared.

I was in bed and my dad called me from overseas coz he was watching CNN and he says it's a terrorist attack and nobody thought that yet but since he's a pilot and he felt that with clear skies and all there was no way the plane could have crashed.

just when I was about to argue with him i saw the second plane crash before my eyes and everyone was freaking out but still not one news reporter mentioned that it may be a terrorist attack until later that day.

i still have the text message on my cell when my dad told me to turn the TV on and watch the news..

still gives me goosebumps.

Yes, I was driving to work and listening to the morning jocks. I thought it was a prank until I switched over to WGN in Chicago. My parents said that it compares to Kennedy getting assassinated, about remembering where you were. I even remember the smell outside, the sun, clouds, and the traffic conditions.

I was on my way to the Prudential in Boston and heard it on the radio in my rental car. I will never forget that - I pulled over and called my mom to see where the rest of my family was. I couldn't believe that these things were happening it seemed so unreal. I ended up turning around and heading to my mom's instead.
