That happened about ten years ago, when I went to wake my wife up for breakfast and realized she was dead.
Since then, nothing much bothers me.

My mother's death tore my world apart but that happened more than a decade ago; and I have successfully reconstructed my world after that. I don't think there could be anything else. Nothing seems to daunt me now.

Not religion itself. When christianity gets involved in politics and makes demands on other cultural groups to live as christians, then yes. That is why Jesus got mad at those in the temple who were buying and selling. They were making the temple a place of making profit and business, not a place of worship. Government / business and Religion do not mix.

Breaking up with my sons father, Failing all my classes, and having no money, also being evicted and letting down my parents.
