Warm milk is the best! Another way is thinking of a color and then thinking of things that are associated with that color. For example: Green - leaves, trees, birds, rainforest etc These two tricks always make me fall asleep easily!

I usually write in a notebook or read until I get too tired to keep going. I hate insomnia, it's tiring.

Yes come to my farm and I will put you to work in the chicken coops the temp. out side right now is 120 deg. in the sun, and I guarantee that you will sleep like a baby after a days work, that is if you don't fall asleep first, before the day is done.

Don't I wish! We put music on, Those Old Radio Shows, and just
try to lay quiet. Nothing works. We usually end up getting up and
having hot cocoa with marshmallows.

go get some "sleepy time tea" i have insomnia and that really works-just use 2 bags-i get it in the natural foods section of the grocery store

hot shower /clean fresh sheets and drink some apples and cinnamon thera-flu! ive had that problem for about a week now

yeah,
i try to go to bed as soon as i feel slightly sleepy, then just keep my mind shut up and the electric fan in full blast
