If Bush were convicted by the Senate, Dick Cheney would become President, so maybe we should impeach him while were at it. Bush's strategy seems to come from a Ouija Board, and Cheney is mostly worried about his "precious, precious" oil.

I think both should be impeached.

This administration did not just behave badly. It behaved criminally and it betrayed both the letter and the spirit of the constitution.

I don't think it's about party grandstanding either. I'm not saying this out of fervent admiration for the democratic party. I simply think the nation can simply not let such enormous breaches of the trust of the people go by in silence. If we believe in democracy, and if we believe in a system of law, it must certainly apply at the top level of government. What does it say about the foundation of the United States, if we say its leaders can flaunt the law and the trust of the people? People are being sent to prison for far less.

Do you believe everything Hollywood and the liberally based media tells you? Take a microeconomics course, read the Newsweek edition titled (basing title on memory here) "one hundred some odd things every American should know" (Hint: one of those things is that we are actually winning in Iraq and the terrorists have been cutt off at the knees), and start thinking for yourself and maybe you will grow a clue and realize he has actually been GOOD for this country.
P.S. I also agree w/ what someone else said:
A president can not be impeached for
being unpopular, however, he can be inpeached
for committing purgery to a grand jury. Who was that
again?.... Oh yeah, that was CLINTON.

As badly as Hillary wants revenge because her over sex idiot of a husband got impeached, it want happen. Do you really think that the Dems and Hillybeast would sit by and not get it done if she could find just one little tiny reason to impeach Bush. Hell no, she would try to get him impeached. but he has not did anything to be impeached for. Everyone keeps talking about all the oil that Bush and Chaney are making millions off of. Apparently you do not keep up to good with facts. Here are your money grabbing oil people , right here. Also see why CNN is bias.
This was in the news and in newspapers.
Bill and Hillary Clinton have raised eyebrows on Wall Street by liquidating a multi-million dollar stock portfolio just ahead of what may be a major stock market downturn.
On June 15, It was reported that Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton liquidated the contents of a blind trust valued at somewhere between $50 and $125 million.
The broadly diversified blind trust held stock investments in pharmaceutical companies, haliburton, and defense contracts, plus numerous other companies including Exxon Mobil, BP Amoco, citgo, ama, aaa, info usa, cnn. Walt Disney and eBay.
The Clintons claimed that the blind trust was being liquidated because some of the investments could pose conflicts of interest or otherwise prove to be embarrassing to Hillary's presidential campaign. In April, the Office of Government Ethics instructed the Clintons to publicly DISCLOSE assets within the blind trusts.
Last week, as some scrambled to avoid a meltdown, rumors circulated on Wall Street that the Clintons may also have been reacting to insider fears that the Dow Jones Industrial Average was about to make a significant adjustment downward.
If the Clintons stocks liquidation of their blind trust assets turns out to have been made at a DJIA high, questions are certainly going to be asked about their prescient market timing.

Seems like they tryed to get rid of the evidence, and got caught.
Same thing Martha spent time in prison for, and others a lot more time than martha did.
Double Standards again. Will they get punished this time,or will they get out of it by the skin of their teeth like they have every thing else, for over 30 yrs.

The Bushies are way too good at covering up their crimes and the Republicans in Congress too good at stonewalling any anti-Bush action. There will be no impeachments. If Bush actually leaves office in 2009 and doesn't declare a state of emergency and annul the election THEN his administration will be held accountable for its crimes..

Impeachment makes no sense now. The majority of Americans won't back it, there are bigger issues to focus on. Bush will leave office unimpeached.

I REALLY dont like Bush...but this impeachment thing is stupid.....you cannot impeach a president because he is unpopular, an idiot, inept, or stupid. Although Bush is all these things they are not impeachable offenses according to the constitution.

My my. All you junior sleuths out there have all the goods and evidence on the pres and VP. Why haven't you sent all this proof to Pelosi and Reid?

Not liking someone isn't a reason to impeach.

I wish it was, but it would be like running the fox out of the hen house and letting the wolf in! The best we can hope for is minimal damage until they are both out of office!

Those who claim they are going to do so better do it soon. I'm getting tired of the hyperbole and excuses.

And if they fail, they better apologize for getting elected for it and not doing it.

I'm still waiting for the apology for the seditious time-wasters who did the same to Former President Clinton.

Same nonsense, different year.

Well, IF they were to commit a crime, Impeachement is a possibility.

However it would be worse for the country if they were impeached and Nancy Pelosi became president. She has been a complete failure as a Speaker.
