Can I wear glasses without looking like a "nerd"?

I have been wearing contacts cause I HATE the way I look with glasses, but contacts are more expensive ...
My face is kinda round.
What kind of glasses should I wear? I don't want to look like a geek!

You can definitly look cute or hott (LOL) with glasses. Right now its actually really trendy to have glasses. I prefer the thick plastic frames that come in the bold colors, compared to the thin wired ones. They help bring attention to your eyes and they always make people look even sexier (LOL). Visit . But most importantly don't be afraid to wear glasses, because not having good vision will limit you to doing activities you usually enjoy.
P.S.: I wear glasses too! I used to be afraid people would joke me, but I eventually just accepted the fact that I was born this way and eventually came to realize how fun it is to change the different looks of eyeglasses.

i wear thick black "Buddy Holly" glasses and i love them. They're the first ones that i've ever had that i actually liked wearing and probably would want to even if i didn't have to. But really, the key is to find glasses that not only fit your face, but your personality. Find something that lets you still feel like YOU; just with better vision.

Of course you can be beautiful with glasses. Go to an eye glass store and try on different styles and pick the one thats the most flattering. Take a friend with you to help you decide.

Wear a frame thats opposite your face shape. Try something a little more square. There are tons of frames at places like LensCrafters, so try them all on til you find frames you feel great it. You're not going to look like a nerd in glasses. Its how you wear them thats important.

yeah, it is definatly possible. my ex used to LOVE my glasses. you just need to find a pair of frames that look good on your face. it may take a bit, there are a ton of styles out there right now, but there is at least one pair of glasses out there that will look good on you, i promise. try finding a pair that not only fits your face but reflects your style. if you wear a lot of bright colors, you could get away with a more colorful pair of frames. but if you wear a lot of dark colors, you may want to get a darker pair of glasses.

I wear glasses and i don't look nerdy. You just have to find some cute glasses and try to wear make up and have your hair nice so you could look very nice when you wear them.
