The term "flip-flop" has been applied to the left (and therefore the democratic party) by the right as a major media ploy. Much like some people have said, there are SEVERAL republicans who have flip-flopped but no one ever mentions that. I.E. McCain and Dubya to name just two. But the thing is it has worked. It certainly convinced enough people to re-elect an incompetent president.
It is where the democrats are seriously failing...they dont have a framed argument against the right.

Hillary Clinton absolutely does not "Flip-Flop". This is an ever-changing world and a brilliant woman like Hillary is fast on her feet. She can re-evaluate in an instant to solve any problem.
This asset will be invaluable in her Administration.

You mean you actually can't think of a single thing? That must be depressing for you. Are you that out of touch?
Now, that you don't like some of the things she's changed her mind on, sure, I understand that.
But if you're going to phrase it like this, and act in a bigoted way toward half the country, you leave yourself wide open.
Not to patriotism. Just to bigotry and sedition.
That is a Former First Lady you are spreading unfounded rumors about; a senator as well.
It is wrong no matter who you do it with. President Bush included.
I'm a democrat. But first, I am a patriot. I even speak up when people are seditious with President Bush. My country comes first.
He's "flip-flopped" as well.
It's funny how, as our politicians go through our careers, we expect them to:
Never change their minds.
Never learn any new facts.
Toe the party line.
Never represent Americans, just our own party.
President Clinton "flip-flopped" a lot. He has my respect for that.
President Bush has done it as well. He has my respect for that.
It's only those outside who don't know why they changed their minds that call it "flip-flopping".
Silly.

1- We must bring those responsible for 9/11 to Justice.
2- Iraq has weapons of mass destruction.
3- It wasn't about the weapons of mass destruction - it's about bringing democracy to the Middle East.
4- We're fighting the terrorists over there so we don't have to fight them over here.
5- Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.
You really want to talk flip-flop?

"Flip Flop" was cooked up by Karl Rove as an attack word for people too stupid or ignorant to understand the complexities of politics and the world in general.

Bush is the pancake president.
His flip flops include telling America he was behind Rumsfeld right up to the election when he dumped him.
He dumped the Secretary of Defense, during wartime, not 2 weeks after he said he was behind him.
