House? In Japan? I'd say there is a better chance you'll have an apartment. And it all depends on where you live.
In US dollars, I know people who pay $800 or more for a one room "apartment" in central Tokyo. A decent sized one bedroom outside of Tokyo will be about $400 or more.

It all depends, nikku.
Do you want to rent a house or do you want to buy one? If you want to buy a house, do you want to buy a new house or used house? You need to be more specific. And also, where do you want to live? In a big city or rural area? It depends on where you want to live and what kind of house you want to rent or buy.
I've never rented a house before in Japan. But one of my cousins have lived in a rental house more than a few times and the houses usually had three bedrooms. The monthly payment was about $1600 dollars when they lived in a rural area but when they lived in a big city, the payment was about $2500 dollars. And that didn't include the power bill, water bill and etc. It was just for the rental fee.
If you want to buy a new house or used one, again depending on the area you want to live, the price will be different.
Anyway, you need to be more specific. So people can actually answer you question.

Tokyo is the capital of Japan, and the place where over 13 million people live, making it one of the most populous cities in the world but also, a big city to visit, find out more with hotelbye . Most of the city was devastated by the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, and then again by the bombing in the WWII, however, Tokyo was able to achieve a remarkably rapid recovery both times. The main attraction of Tokyo is the Imperial Palace with its beautiful 17th-century parks surrounded by walls and moats. The palace is still in use by the Imperial family.

HOuses in Japan are unbelievably exspensive! I would estimate at least 400,000 thousand in American for what you want, and that would be in a rural area and an older home. Once you get into cities and urban areas, the costs will double or triple. Very few people in Japan own their own homes...and this is espcially true for young couples or singles starting out.

How much would it cost for a 3 bedroom house in your home country? Without more specific info I can't answer.
A fixer-upper house in the countryside with land can be had for a few million yen (US$x0,000); a brand-new rabbit hutch house in the big cities with no garden to speak of can start from 40 million yen and probably run close to 100 million if you actually want some grass or rooms with cat-swinging facilities. (US$400,000 - US$1M)

rent runs around $3000/month or so, when you factor in conversion rates. More if you want to live in Tokyo or Yokohama in a house and not an apartment.
Non Japanese Citizens are not allowed to purchase property in Japan.
