The day a certain guy called me his friend. I know that sounds silly and not really that important but....he´s like this rainbow in my life, i can see him, he´s there but the closer i try to get, the further away he seems to go....and as rainbows go, he eventually did go so far away that i no longer see him anymore, and i know that, no matter what happens in either of our lives, it´ll never be the same and i will never have that moment again, so if i could freeze any single moment in my life, it would be that moment, because thats the one single moment where i felt a sincere feeling of friendship, the one single moment that i actually felt a mutual connection to him.....

A bright sunny day in May. We were having a birthday party for my middle daughter in a beautiful restaurant in Manhattan Beach California. Everyone was there. The younger children were laughing and the adults were singing. I remember looking up to the sky and thinking I could die tomorrow and I'd be in a contented state of mind.
