Ending a war on terror would mean ending the record breaking profits his big oil buddies are making. So, no.

The conflict isn't over yet, which ability the winner continues to be unknown. Like maximum wars, some battles are gained; some battles are misplaced. overall it may be common to assert that Bush is somewhat forward in the conflict on terror. honestly Osama Bin encumbered has made little progression on his important objective, which became into the overthrow of corrupt governments in the Mid-East to get replaced with the aid of the caliphate spanning the finished Ottoman Empire of previous. There at the instant are 2 fledgling democracies in Iraq and Afghanistan which at the instant are not out of the woods yet, yet are reason for tempered optimism. The Sunnis brutally suppressed the Shiite in Iraq for some years so it is going to make the effort for the revenge and counter revenge to play out. yet maximum heavily, Bush has secured coorperation from the two the Saudis and the Pakistanis in this conflict on terrorists. because of the fact Bush's objective has been containment, it should be judged a fulfillment. because of the fact OBL's objective became into growth and restructuring of the political map of the mid east it should be judged a failure. needless to say the strategies and execution of the yank protection tension marketing campaign could have been crisper. The acsendency of Iran as a hegemonic capability in the area is complicated. yet on a similar time the conflict is being gained. although, this is no longer being gained as directly because of the fact the US elctorate could like, and this is no longer being gained with out casualties, so the Bush adminsitration has attracted a lot of grievance. yet is Bush prevailing the conflict on terror: definite he's!

No, not Iraq, because he's conducting a Blender War. These wars have been conducted by the US since WWII. You move troops in stir things up, everything becomes unsettled, there is no resolution, there is no ticker tape parade, what's left is chaos and an inability to attack us on our own soil. The pathetic Un is happy and the US doesn't look like an out of control super power, it's psychological.

Now that they are, doesn't it make you feel more secure that Bush sent the National Guard over there, instead of remaining here?
Boy, what a lousy commander. We need the Guard here, instead of over there where they are getting shot and killed.
Here's the truth: Al-queda is getting stronger and homeland military defense has gotten weaker.]
WAY TO GO BUSH AND CONS!

Bush & co. have no idea how to fix this mess, so they've
decided to keep it going untill a new president can figure
it out.
I wish Congress would show some "executive privilege"
& show Bush, Cheney & Rove the front door.

Why don't you learn what we are dealing with. They will send their children strapped with bombs to kill innocent people and do do you think that with this mentality they are just going to give up. No they must all be killed just like Japan had to have the a bomb dropped two times before they gave up. They had the same type of suicide pilots kamikaze and you think that we have not been hit is due to the Democrats. No way it is due to GWB thanks to him but he does need to unleash all of our might and stop giving you on the left the time of the day.

I don't think you realize how undeniably strong Al Qaeda is. It's never been Bush's intention for their already great power to increase. He does want to win this war, but it's not as simple of a task as you seem to think it is.

Nope, he wants it to continue. As long as the war is going on he can use it as an excuse to violate the Constitution and keep his people in power.

What he wanted was to leave office with a "war president" legacy. He'll end up with the legacy of a joke who couldn't clean up the mess he created.
