I think everyone should be free to be themselves.

Life is so short. If you can find someone to love who loves you, great!

I have no real opinion on gays or lesbians, that's what they chose/are. I do have beliefs and I believe it's a sin. Now before anyone starts to jump down my throat, understand that I sin also and so does everyone else. I believe that no sin is greater then the next and only one is unforgivable.
Just because I believe it's a sin doesn't mean I don't/won't like/love someone because they are gay. I want to be loved too and I am a sinner.
I try to repent for my sin and not repeat them, does that make me better then a person who is gay? I don't believe so. I try not to judge, blame, outcast or put down people who have their own beliefs that may be different then mine.
Remember, the key word here is "try" :)
sometimes I do offend people and that is something they have to deal with.

Of course it's not wrong. Homosexuality occurs in many species. I'm pretty sure that the gay penguin couple that got a book written about them aren't together because it's cool or they want to deny God or whatever. They're together for the same reasons that the other penguin couples are together: they liked the look of each other.

Humans are the same way. We don't choose who we're attracted to. I can't wake up tomorrow and decide that, instead of my usual tall, skinny guys, I'm going to lust after short, fat ones. And I certainly can't decide that I'm done with guys altogther and I'll only fall for women. If there's any choice being made, it's done by my genes and my subconscious.

Whether you like it or not, a percentage of the population has always been homosexual and always will be. Persecution, gaol, torture and execution have failed to stop it anywhere because it is part of human nature and the normal range of sexuality.

It doesn't matter what anyone's opinion is or what any religion says about it, it is there and always will be there. Why should people be persecuted for loving someone?

God says it's an abomination to the Lord. I believe in the bible, so I recognize that we all are sinners and fall short of the glory of God. To be forgiven means you have recognized your sins and try to not repeat your behavior. Homosexual behavior has become a lifestyle and I am saddened for the friends that I have that are of that lifestyle. I will continue to pray for them because they are great, kind people. It is a very hard thing for me to deal with as a believer.

Yes I think it's wrong but who am I to judge? A lot of them can be nice. If that's the way they wanna live then I've gotta accept that.
