I returned an item to a seller. He would not contact me after that. I started a claim. He would not respond. I started a dispute. After weeks, Pay Pal told me to return the item I had already returned and send the tracking number. I sent the tracking number and explained that was the reason for the dispute. I already returned the item and he did not refund. Finally, after a month, they write and say the tracking number is invalid (it is not; I have checked it myself and the item is delivered) and case closed. Just like that! They didn't say why they considered it invalid; if the guy was insisting he didn't get the item. They didn't explain anything. Does anyone know if there is a way to now fight this pay pal decision or someone I can turn them in to?

Please feel free to go to UPS.com and see if you think this tracking number is invalid...

I gave up on Ebay last year.

I had an Ebay store. A "customer" decided to say he was buying an item, and never paid for it. When I put in a Non-paying Bidder's request, he said I stole his money! After 2 weeks of trying to do the non paying bidder request. I was immediately shut down with theft and threatened lawsuits! All this over a $4.20 order!

He refused to say whether he paid with a check or money order. He said it was none of my business HOW he paid. I don't know why it is a buyer is not required to show Proof of Payment. Proof to Ebay goes by the wayside. It's as if they flip a coin and whatever decision is made by the coin flip is their final decision.

Good luck trying to call Ebay. They have a "Contact center", NOT a "call center". They expect you to send an email and they "should" respond within 3 days. My situation was "resolved" after 8 months, and it still has not been to my satisfaction (I stopped trying about 6 months ago...the issue has beenalmost 15 months so far).

SO, IMO Ebay has lost tons of honest patrons due to this. They try to tell their shareholders it's because their fees are too low?

I even have had problems at present too, I replaced my financial employer, extra my new account to my paypal account and paid my vendor expenses. Ebay then consistently shop attempting to take my expenses back from my previous account! even if I even have stored the account open and it has some funds in it, I did cancel all the direct debits from it so I shop getting snotty emails from paypal and ebay even nonetheless I paid my expenses 2 months in the past and have not offered something for the reason that!

Have you checked with UPS to see if anyone signed for the package delivery ? Did you send it with request for a signature upon delivery ? If you can get a copy of a signature, that would certainly be helpful in your situation.

Have you spoken with the seller, or does he refuse to communicate ? I'd giver PayPal another call and inquire as to their reasoning for refusing to refund.
