For gosh sakes, stick to the recommended oil viscosity. Heavy molasses 20W-50 Castrol forces the oil pump to work harder, does not carry heat away from the block surfaces or rotating assembly nearly as well as 5W-30. Molasses will not pump to critical engine parts as quickly on cold start-ups. This is where 95% of engine wear happens pure and simple. The best Texas brands are Valvoline, Havoline, Quaker State, Mobil and Pennziol. Two excellent Pensylvania oils, Gulf and Brad Penn come form the old Kendal refinery in Bradford Pa, If you're intrested in oil viscosity and racing dial up Joe Gibbs Racing oil and check out the super light viscosities used for qualifying, plate racing and when the suffocating plates are not used. I'll give you a very big hint. You will not see any 30 - 40 or 50 weight oil. Why in the world would you consider Castrol 20W-50?

A/C Delco - NGK is for Asian cars, Autolite for Ford products and in case anyone cares Champion for Chrysler.
Stay away from Splitfire plugs they will cause a misfire in your GM product. A/C Delco does offer their version called 'Rapidfire' - But I would stick with A/C Delco regular plug, probably part number R45TSM - Check the number first. PCV is a Delco number CV892C I believe - I could be wrong.

Go to autozone or your local parts store and tell them that you need new spark plugs for your car, they will then look up your car and give you exactly what you need.

R44TS6 I think is the correct plug, but I am sure AC-DELCO is the best to use............................or a AC Rapid-fire of equal value
