I'm trying to major in computer science, and I have yet to take a class (will take one in fall). I'm just wondering if it has logarithms from Pre-cal.

I think I LOVE logarithms!!! (:

I think what you really are asking is: Do computer LANGUAGES have logarithms. The answer is "yes"; virtually all of them do.

In most computer languages, you'd write something like "log(23)" to get the "natural" logarithm of 23.

I agree, logarithms are pretty cool--though I'll you & I are in the minority. :-)

pc technology like maximum all sciences require analytical and logical qualifications. extreme college geometry is in all probability the 1st reliable exposure to the analytical and logical qualifications which you spot. word problems in all math classes are extra exposures to those qualifications. in case you have important problems with the analytical and logical qualifications i don't see the way you could make it in pc technology (or the different technology or engineering) fields.
