Alright heres the delima out of the blue I need to go to california, someones getting married, and i have to leave on either this coming friday or saturday (july 13 or 14) and am just going for a few days, does anyone know the cheapest way for me to get pittsburgh pennsylvania to anywhere in california, a flight seems like the only way but i do not know where to get any tickets.

go to www.craigslist.org and look for rideshare, it's a longshot for going that far but it would be the cheapest. Amtrak is pretty reasonable, so is greyhound but there are some scary people on grayhound, that's what I hear.
Otherwise just try and find the cheapest flight

Go on a plane that is coach and choose Red Eye, which is flying during the night. That is the cheapest --- unless you want something CHEAPER.

Yes...hitchhike. Sure, this will take you awhile, but if you mooch off of other travelers, it will cost you next to nothing. Good luck on your travels. lol

well, you could try flying Southwest, or Frontier, or maybe you could do a little search at cheaptickets.com, or travelzoo. Travelzoo actually has pretty good deals most of the time.

flyu southwest airlines, they are pretty cheap. sometimes the plane will have empty seats and will try to fill them. they put you on a list to get in . if it doesnt work , drive, it will take forever though, ... good luck

i recommend taking a bus or train but if you really want to fly use small town airports to jump around
