Yes. I remember a few years ago a friend was having a Christmas Party and his father was attending. His Dad was turning 90 yrs old that weekend so I bought him a nice card. Later our friend told us his father just couldn't get over the fact the we had paid $5 for a card. He just kept telling everyone about it and showing people the card.

Almost always....I rarely give gifts and noone expects me to. They're surprised just to get a card.
