^Is it possible, and where do i go to do it, without calling. I think it may be possible casue they have to scan the envelope at each 'break point'? So is there somewhere I can like type in my address, and then they can see if anything is coming to my house?

I don't think so the shipper should give you the tracking number.

There are only three ways to track a package/envelope sent via UPS.

1) Tracking Number
2) Track by Reference
When creating a shipment, you can assign a reference to it such as a PO Number, Bill of Lading Number, or customer name. Use this predefined reference to track your shipment.

3) Quantum View Manage
For UPS Account holders, Quantum View Manage provides account-level tracking - no need to remember any tracking numbers. This service will even alert you by e-mail when a shipment is late.

This doesn't help if you are the one receiving the package, not the one sending the package. But it does prove there are other ways to track a package without the tracking number. Unfortunately, you need some advanced planning...

Best of luck!

In some cases, but probably not. You can't track on-line by the delivery address. The sender can assign a reference and track the package using the reference. As the recipient, if you don't have the tracking number, you have to call someone.

There isn't a place *you* can do that. UPS's systems can search by destination address, but you need to call, unfortunately. Although, their phone customer service is usually pretty good (I ship about 400 packages a month with them, and have pretty good service experiences from them).

Call 1800-PICK-UPS, and just repeat the word "Agent" as the answer to any of their questions, and eventually it'll send you through to one of their customer service reps.

When you do get the info, make sure you ask for the tracking number, so you don't have to go through it again.

Yes, they can, Go to the UPS website and ask for "Help" or "Contact Us". One way or another they can help----Look at it as---UPS would be have some happy employees if everyone that lost their tracking # dropped the cause. Those packages are going to someone/somewhere! Make no mistake about that! It's not okay with me that my package, either that I sent or was to receive went to someone other than who it was intended. By God, I want to know where my package is dog-gone-it! I know you have it and I want it! NOW would be great!

God's Speed and Grace,

No. You need a tracking number or account number.
