Why are they not talking to their lovely mate?

Maybe their mate is working.....out golfing...softball practice.....napping....there are a lot of reasons....maybe they do it while they are working.....

I am talking to my mate(wife) 22hrs a day and I am
on this site max about 1 and 1/2 hrs some days of
the week, so I would say I am communicating
with my wife about 96percent of the time, not bad
huh...

I love my husband, but I love to talk to you on this site--he travels so, I usually talk in the later evening and when he is working. I feel like I have a lot of life experiences from a non-sheltered life that I can share with you.

Maybe their lovely mate works different shifts, then they do. Also, happiness doesn't mean being with someone all the time.

99% of the time, I come to Answers during slow periods at work. When I'm home with my husband and kids, I rarely get online. I usually do once, after the kids are in bed, just to check email. After that, my husband takes over the computer to play one of his games, check email, etc. (He's a stay at home dad, and doesn't have a chance to get online during the day.)

My husband and I work together at the same job. We are actually together every single moment of every day. If I didn't come on here and talk to other people now and then I would go insane.

My husband is here with me reading the questions and putting his two-cents worth on some of the answers. Its something that we do together because we enjoy it. Weird? Probably, but it works for us.

He's doing his liesure activities (reading, watching t.v. and working on his harley) and I have mine (answers). That is one of the reasons we are so happy.
