At like 13-14 The serious stuff should only come after you're 18...Because any serious relationship while you're 13-17 will be devastating and probably won't last. As teenagers we have to go through lots of other stuff as well and a serious relationship is very stressful and depressing its your teen years you wouldn't want to waste it being sad over some guy! Go out with your girls and have FUN! Forget about the guys because as soon as you get into a relationship you probably won't have as much time with your girls and friends! Plus guys are definitely immature in their younger teen years and don't really care about a girls feelings all they care about is having this girl and being a player. So I definitely think none of the serious stuff should come until like 18...I'm 16 and I'm waiting until I'm about 16 to get into a serious relationship!=D

i know exactly how u feel. u keep wondering whether u will ever have a boyfriend.i have this friend. she is almost 21 and she never had a kiss and never had a boyfriend. she doesnt seem unhappy about it, but admits that she doesnt want it yet and the time is not right for her. u mention your shyness. well, only you can get rid of it. no one else can. you can hope for a guy who would see the real you behind the shyness, but i say u should try to become more sociable. take little steps. first talk to a guy in your class, start with smth small like a question from a lecture. it will help if u sit near the guy as well. if u just come and sit there without looking at him, he will never think that u came to sit with him. there is nothing uneasy about this. so,after u asked him a question about lecture, ask about the courses he is doing, how long he`s been studying, when he is graduating. then finish the conversation with: see u next week or smth. next time u`ll see that it is getting easier to talk to him. ask him how was his day, whether he started on the assignment. use college as your playground to get rid of shyness. its really not that easy. once u`ve learned to be more comfortable around guys, u can try finding a date online, meet them, talk to them. if it doesnt work out, no problem. its not like u will have a crush on them, so u get to pratice. put yourself out there.dont hesitate and take 1 step in a time
