I take a bc powder and chase it with a little coca cola. If you can, it would also be a good idea to lie down in a dark room for at least 30 minutes. If I can take a nap, generally I feel better.

Have someone massage your head in the following manner: standing behind you with all fingers just barely curled massage from the middle of the forehead to the temples 3-5 times then move directly to inward circular movements on the temple 3-5 times and then move directly into a movement straight down from the temples to the jawline 3-5 times.
Repeat if necessary.

Use the thumb and forefinger on your right hand to squeeze the webbing in between your thumb and forefinger on your left hand. It will hurt. But it will help. Also, anything lavender. Put lavender essential oil on your temples or take a bath with the oil in your bath. Sprays can work, but sometimes they're too dilluted.

Take a warm bath in a darkened room. The heat of the water draws blood away from the head (assuming you are sitting up).

Take your left index finger and them and squeeze as hard as you can the skin connecting your right index finger and thumb. When I wait to long to take my medication this can sometimes take the edge off until my medication kicks in. My Doctor taught me this acu-pressure point.
Feel better!
