Labels, labels, and more labels!
All of the groups you have listed fit into the genre of Rock.
While Blink 182 and Green Day have written many Pop Rock songs, the others - the Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, and Black Flag were "real" Punk bands who I had the pleasure to see perform live, and I still listen to their music today.
I missed the Sex Pistols the first time, and the second time.
*Wow, your thumbs down are "real" punk too!

Real punk by far. Besides, real punk bands influence the emo bands, not the other way around.

Musically=Punk. But the fans can be some of the meanest, most judgemental people I've ever met, so I prefer Emo if I'm going to a show

1. this is a stupid question because it's all based on preference. I personally like any kind of music that involve guitar(classic rock, punk rock, alternative punk, emo, metal, modern rock, pop punk, death metal whatever), and I would prefer emo to punk rock, just because i heard more of it
2. eh, if by better genre, you mean "influential" or whatever, then punk duh
without punk, we wouldn't have 90% of the stuff we have today

Real punk rock, because I have never heard any emo music [MCR, The Used, 30 Seconds to Mars, Fall Out Boy, anything that has had a single, is NOT emo; its pop rock, people].
