Unfortunately, no. The linkages between males are determined by the Y chromosome. A daughter will not carry the Y chromosome, so there's no way a match can be made based simply in the lineage. She could be proven to be her mother's daughter through mitochondrial DNA, which is passed from mother to daughter, but that wouldn't establish a link to her father. If she had a brother, then his DNA could be compared to his father (or his father's brothers and the descendants of the brothers, if any), and his mitochondrial DNA could be compared to his mother's to establish the mother's identity, but without a Y chromosome, only a woman's maternal line can be reliably established.

The following information may only state whether or not she is truly a BOONE. If they have DNA from KNOWN* Daniel Boone descendants, they may compare it to known Boone DNA Project participants. Many surnames have DNA Projects which validate their ancestry. The projects are typically referred to by the surname, eg, Smith DNA Project; Jones DNA Project; Parker DNA Project.
*Known is defined as DNA from a pool of verified Daniel Boone descendants.

I can't give a scientific answer, but I remember that Thomas Jefferson's descendants from his relationship with Sally Hemmings were traced through DNA tests a few years ago, and there were women as well as men.
