to have the true human rights in this situation resolved, the answer is simple. each place of business can deside for itself about allowing smoking. some would be smoke free. some would have smoking allowed. the individual could then choose. if you want to go to the non-smoking establishment, you don't smoke. if you want to go to the smoking allowed establishment, you don't complain. people with totalitarian mentality can't understand this, people that believe in democracy can.

Smoking in a public place is fundamentally not a human right. There is no authority, legal or otherwise, for this ridiculous proposition.

Sorry, but it isn't. Not having your head kicked in by the police is a human right, not having a quiet cigarette.

everything that the government says they are doing in our best interests always comes back to the good ole american greenback (USD). they tell us everything is for our own good , smoking, seatbelts. i mean yes, we know smoking or driving without a seatbelt is bad for health. do they love us so much they make us pay a fine so that we don't do it again ? they could care less, they just want our money so they stay employed.

The government is actually staffed by thickos. People think that because a person is a minister it means that they are clever and they know what to do or what they are doing. That is completely incorrect.
