Are theses correct?(am I saying it the correct way)ty?

1.) There were clean clothes here.
2.) he was one years old.

Correct?

Only #2 needs to be fixed. It should be "He was one year old". We say "one year old" because "one" is singular. If it was "two", then you would use "yearS old" because "two" is a plural.
