Was anyone as shocked as me about this programme? Such a sad indictment of the UK today!

Yes I was shocked. Jewish people seem to be getting it from all sides at the moment. Right wing extremists, Islamic extremists, left wing anti-Israel campaigners, and the list goes on.

I wasn't at all surprised by the anti-semitism of far right factions like the BNP, or by Muslim extremists. Both use the politics of fear and hatred for their own ends. They are two sides of the same coin and their views are so entrenched that their minds will never be changed. So all we can do is to argue against them and expose their hatred at every opportunity.

What shocked me more was the way anti-semitism has crept into the views of those on the left, or of moderate political views, who get sucked in via opposition to Israel's treatment of the Palestinians. These people urgently need to re-examine their views and draw a clear distinction between the Jewish faith as a whole and actions of the Israeli government. Blaming all Jews for Israel's actions is no different from blaming all German's for the holocaust, or from blaming all Americans for the Iraq war.

No person should be treated differently from any other on grounds of race, creed or colour. Whether people are black, white, Asian, Muslim, Jew, Christian or anything else, all should be treated with equal respect.

I did not see the program, but as an American, I'm subjected to similar nonsense on a daily basis. One Under God and Wake Up Sheeple---you took the words right out of my mouth. Great responses.
Here's a local example of Jews demanding that THEIR "needs" be met above and beyond those of any others. Several years ago, a large nearby city's symphony planned on performing a concert of Wagner's classics. The local Jewish population demanded that it be cancelled. Why? Because Wagner was Hitler's favorite composer---never mind that many millions of others have enjoyed his music.
The concert was performed with great success.

I never saw the program and am not Jewish. But in all the time Ive been in this country Ive hardly noticed a flashpoint of anti-semitism. In fact I didnt even know we had a 'war on Jews' till I heard about this program.

Cant be much of a war when I've noticed nothing and I read just about every paper going.

Can someone give me specific incidents that I can read about online where British Jews have been persecuted rather than just hearsay by people with an agenda?

Im not saying they dont have a point, but Id rather look at some facts first then make my mind up, because to date Ive hardly noticed a 'wave of persecution' in Britain.

I am of Jewish descent on my father's side, the great grandfathers were called Abraham and Moses..

Does this mean I have a direct line to God and if so could any other Jews out there give me the number!

Shabbat Shalom

What is shocking is that some people are ignorant of the facts and would rather chose to blame Jews for all the problems.

It is not anti-Semitic to criticize Israel or Zionism.
Any constructive and objective criticism and debate is healthy, in a free society.
There are plenty of Jews who do take a hard look at Israeli and/or Zionism, and for that matter, the situation with Palestine.

For those people that would rather find fault with Jews, I would hope that they are without sin or fault within their own life.

There is a growing faction of people who choose to hate the Jews.
And while there are clearly enough wrongs to find, there are even more positive things to counter with.
I don't expect the haters to understand...they are, after all, blinded by their rage.

What I cannot fathom is those Brits who feel that while it is okay to hate the Jews, they are blind to the Islamic terrorists on their own soil.
While I wish no ill will towards any Brit, I do hope that these ignorant Brits get a close brush with the venom these terrorists are spreading in Britain.

I'm not shocked at all, I work with a lot of Jewish people and they have told me of incidents that have happened to them over the years, in fact in the 30yrs I've worked with them, nothing changed.I find it hard to understand why there is so much anti Semitic feeling in this country, some of your answer show just how much there is in this country, I can assure you not all Jewish people are rich, and yes they are prepared to work hard to make a better life for themselves, is that a crime these days ? There bad apples in every barrels, but a lot less in the Jewish communities, than others. Is it the Jews that are Bombing trains, bus's and airports, how many Jews are out getting drunk at the weekend and fighting and smashing the place up ? isn't it time we stop living in the past, and accept that the Jewish community are far better than some of the neighbours we could have !!!

firstly, to the dummy that said Littlejohn is Jewish.....WRONG DUMBO!

Secondly, Dave s, whichever version Im replying to (but Im hoping its the beanfest one) check out the Hackney Gazette, there have been loads of attacks on the Chasidim (ultra orthodox). Saying that, i tried to look for a story online with the Gazette before and it was useless but try anyway.
They are fair game for anyone in the part of London where I live. They keep themselves to themselves and do not retaliate, black kids seem to find it funny to want to knock off their hats or the womens wigs, the irony of being an immigrant is lost on them.
Really, its shocking what they have to put up with and everyone seems to count them as fair game.
What makes me laugh is the fact that so called liberals watch what they say about the Islamonazis for fear of upsetting them but pull no punches when it comes to Jews.
And not that it matters but Im not Jewish, never have been.

I will take it with a bag of salt because it was presented by a Jew - Littlejohn. Now that is what I call Propaganda. Black people in the UK and in Europe are the new Jews. They are the ones taking all the abuse. The Jews on the other hand are Rich, Rich I tell you and if they are fed up of being super rich then give me all the money and I will go and live in the big house and take all the cr*p and have fun basically. Cos after all I can holiday in sunny Israel anytime I like. Oh do spare me. Adolf is well gone mateys.

The programme was the barest, most utterly blatant pro-Jewish propaganda. Will they ever stop playing the victim card? They are repressing Arabs on a daily basis in the Middle East so they have to come up with some propaganda to pretend they're not the aggressors. Truly pathetic.

RICHARD LITTLEJOHN IS NOT JEWISH!!!

Why can't some of you get this simple fact into your thick skulls!!!

The chief of Manchester police is NOT JEWISH EITHER!

Neither is the MP, Mr Mann!

The programme was highly troubling; I did a bit of research afterwards and on the internet found links to numerous newspaper reports detailing some horrendous physical assaults on Jewish people this year. I never thought the UK would be like this.
