My personal opinion is that Lupin will be one of the characters because when you think about it, JKR has been killing off all of the marauders. And I don't think Wormtail will make it out of this book alive, but he's not a major character, is he?

It's more than two characters, actually. In a news article from July 9, 2007:
"Rowling said some characters will die in the last book, but wouldn't say if the boy wizard is among them: "It's not a bloodbath, but it's more than two," she said."
So figure on atleast three are going to die. And as she is highly unlikely to let Voldemort live, expect he's one of those who dies.

I think that Voldy and Harry will both die, as many rumors say so.
It's because that it is the last book, and J.K Rowling may want to wrap up, as she's going to start a new series (probably), which DOES NOT star Harry.
In other ways, I think that Voldy will die also as he is bad bad guy in the story and of course, mostly, bad guys get killed or the lose.
Of course, the final book will have some minor creatures killed!

Voldemort and Snape
I've thought a lot about it. I knew that Harry wasn't going to die (b/c J.K.R said she wouldn't because of the audience's reaction..and she already got hate mail for it) and I think Snape will die...by saving Harry.

well, i have a deap feeling that more than 2 people will die. after all, is Voldemort really going to be taken down and only take 2 people with him. that of course, is if he is taken down. I have a feeling one of the trio will die, it may be harry, but if ron or hermione die it might be because they were trying to save the other.
otherwise i really have no idea who will die.

I think voldemort will die (obviously, she wouldn't want to encourage evil in the world!) and snape will die (he's undercover, dumbledore is NEVER wrong!! ) trying to save harry, and harry will marry ginny and ron marries hermione. and lupin will def die and tonks will kill herself bc she gets so depressed (poor girl, first serius now lupin..) i can't waaait till it comes out! i'm rereading all the books to prepare! hahah

am I the only person on thsi whole intire universe that thinks neville will die!voldemort will also! Neville and harry will be better friends and neville will help harry defeat voldemort

I think that it'll be Voldemort and one of the Weasleys (probaby not Molly, Percy, Ginny, or Ron)

Voldemort has to go, maybe hermoine will kick the bucket and heal the muggle-non-muggle discrimination by becoming a muggle martyr
