My mother had blue eyes and my dad has green eyes, I have been told that my eyes are hazel but to me they look like an olive green...very cute :) but my husband has like a carmel brown color (his parents both have brown eyes) and both of my kids have brown eyes.....I hope the 3rd and last one will get my eyes....fingers crossed but not likely

Brown is dominant over any other color. Then grey and green....blue is the last on the list. I have learned in my biology course that 2 green eyes can not have a brown eye child.......My parents were not too impressed with my teacher them being both green eyes and me brown eyes.

Depends. Maybe if your parents or husband's parents have brown eyes its possible.
I have hazel eyes, my husband has dark brown eyes. My youngest has blue green eyes which are similar to my father's eyes.

Yes it is, Genetics goes all the way back to the beginning of your family. If someone on either side of the family had brown eyes your child probably picked it up from there. Just be glad your child has eyes and quit trying to make something out of the color of them.

you have to look at your parents. if anyone of your parents had brown eyes, there is a possibility. brown eyes are a dominant and common trait.

recessant genes can play a part and two recessive genes make a dominant gene...
so if the both of you have recessant genes for brown eyes...there you go!
