As long as you've got both pieces you shouldn't have trouble spending it at most places. Taking it to the bank is an option to, but I don't think you have to.

At first, I thought you had accidentally "ripped off" 100 dollars. :)
My first reply was going to be "That was no accident and take it back idiot!" :)
Instead, my reply is now-- tape it and move on---most businesses will take your money ripped and all---if no one will-go exchange it at your bank!
