You can check out all of the shows and events that will be going on in LV while you are there, at this site.

The best magic shows
Lance Burton - Best Magician
Penn & Teller - Expensive

DIrk Arthur - this show is not as good as the ones above, but it's far and away the best value - This show has $35 tickets and there are almost always 2-4-1 coupons in the free LV magazines such as "What's On"

Rick Thomas - Orleans - this show is a good value

Steve Wyrick - Would be last on my list

David Copperfield - is in LV quite a bit, at the MGM usually

Mac King - Magic & Comedy >this is far and away the best of the afternoon shows in LV - discount tickets are always available

Hypnotist - are not my cup of tea, and I have never been to a show, but there are several in LV
Anthony Cools - Paris
Scott Lewis - Riviera
Mesmerized - In the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood

My pick for best production show
Mystere - Treasure Island

"O" & "Ka" are also great shows

If you do decide to see one of the Cirque Du Soleil shows, buy your tickets are far in advance as possible(90 days) for good seats.

Blue Man Group - This one is very popular

If you like impersonators try Larry G. Jones "The Man of 1002 Voices" at Fitzgeralds, IMHO he's just as good if not better than Danny Gans($100) and tickets $20-$30 to his show.

For discount day of show tickets to the less popular shows
http://www.tix4tonight >4 locations, 3 on the strip
http://www.tickets2nite.com
These tickets go on sale around 11am each day.

I have seen both Seigfreid and Roy and Lance Burton. Of course, S & R will not be a choice, but Lance Burton is a great show and well worth the ticket price. David Copperfield is also a great show, but I have not seen him in Vegas just in Seattle at the local theaters. I would recommend either Burton or Copperfield.

Lance Burton always gets high marks from the locals. The new show at Planet Hollywood with Pam Anderson has gotten a lot of good press.

Personally, I would go to see one of the Cirque de Solieil shows instead. They are much more interesting and fun. IF you like the Beatles, Love is awesome.

As another show, I highly recommend Stomp Out Loud also at Planet Hollywood. it was phenomenal!!
