Since nearly every single problem the planet is facing today is because of overpopulation - YES - the government should sponsor birth control and education in every country. Let's start here, as the first answerer suggested.

Yes, it seems like a good idea to me. Birth control in the form of condoms, etc. are fine. But if the government started sponsoring abortions, etc., we would be in trouble.

Well, one good reason for it is that it deletes more potential liberals than conservatives. There's not even a close second reason to this one. That makes it a winner in my book and well worth the money.
