I have a HUGE recommendation for you.
It's called The Well of Loneliness by Radclyffe Hall.
It was actually banned when it was first written, because back in early 1900's Britain it was huge taboo.
It's a very tragic, sad story of a lesbian living in that time period...and I loved every minute of it.
Plenty of depression, tradgedy, and gays...
I don't know about the cutting though. I haven't found anything with all three, myself.
A few good books I've read:
Skin Game - Caroline Kettlewell
The Luckiest Girl in the World - Steven Levenkron
A Bright Red Scream (nonfiction) -I forgot the author...
They all address cutting fairly well, but there isn't much about the lesbians/gays.
Hope I helped in some way. I really hope you check out that first book I mentioned; it's one of my absolute favorites. Kind of hard to get into at first, but once you get used to the diction it's beautiful.

I have seen these 3 mentioned on the LGBT forum more than once.
Perhaps there is an interesting trend that can be studied by experts.
