I would like to know how to get science and math symbols such as "delta" and "degree" so I can use them in my answers here. Is there anyone out there who can explain this to me in very simple terms? My computer IQ is very low.

There doesn't seem to be a code for 'Delta'.
Copy the following symbol (highlite it and copy), and paste it into a document where you can copy it from as much as you like and past it into 'Answers'.

Delta... Δ

in Word/Outlook the delta shortcut is 0394 ALT key X

The 0394 displays as text and changes to delta symbol after Alt X

I don't know the shortcut for delta in excel. Just the Insert, symbol, unicode, 2206

for degree hold ALT key and type 0176

Degree sign °

press and hold alt and 0176 (i had the use the number pad numbers, not the ones over the letters)

Delta: I could only find it in the symbols chart on ms works and there's no keyboard shortcut for it. When I copied and pasted it here, it changed it into a "D" So, no luck on that one.
